The village of Castellane
At the heart of lush greenery, discover the village of Castellane perched at an altitude of 724 meters. Climb to the Chapelle Notre Dame sur le Roc, at the top of the village of Castellane at 930 meters above sea level. You will have a breathtaking view of the entire region. During a walk of one or one hour and thirty minutes, you will be in the heart of nature.
The Allos lake
In the middle of the Mercantour peaks, discover the mountain lake of Allos, nestled at 2,230 meters above sea level. The Lac d'Allos is the largest natural high altitude lake in Europe. To appreciate Lake Allos, we advise you to come and visit it outside of July and August to avoid the crowds.
The village of Colmars
Colmars-les-Alpes is a mountain village bordered by the waters of the Verdon. During your visit to Colmars-les-Alpes, you will discover the vestiges of the village's military past. This village will delight lovers of mountains, nature and history. Visit the ramparts, Fort-de-France and the Cascade de la Lance.
The Citadel of Entrevaux
Entrevaux is a fortified and medieval village in Provence. Lose yourself in the alleys of the city center and come and discover the famous citadel. Castillon lake
Lake Castillon is one of the must-see lakes of the Verdon and the Valley. In the Moyen-Verdon, you will find Lake Castillon bordered by lush greenery. You will have a good time either on the water or during a hike in the surroundings.
Chaudanne lake
Chaudanne lake is wilder than the other lakes in the Verdon. It is surrounded by limestone cliffs and steep terrain. We advise you to climb to the top of the village of Demandolx to get one of the most beautiful views of this exceptional lake.
Moustiers-Sainte-Marie
This Provencal village of character is among the most beautiful in France. You will be charmed by its church, its ramparts, its chapels, its aqueduct, its fountains, etc. The village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is known for its pottery. Let yourself be tempted by historical stays in this village.
The Plateau de Valensole
Depending on the season, the Plateau de Valensole changes color and landscape. During the winter, you will appreciate the snow-capped peaks of the Alps, in March, you will see the almond trees in bloom, in July, you will observe the blue of the lavender contrasted by the gold of the wheat, and in November, you will be able to discover the ocher plowed land.
Hikes
Many hikes can be found in the vicinity of our establishment. You can set off for the Grande Randonnée 4, the Sentier Blanc-Martel, the Sentier du Lézard in Carry-le-Rouet and the Sentier Samson. Go for a hike between turquoise waters and lush green nature.
The Riviera
The French Riviera, and in particular Cannes, is only a 1.5 hour drive from the Nouvel Hôtel de Commerce. You will enjoy strolling on the famous Croisette and sunbathing on the superb fine sandy beaches. Beautiful walks by the sea can be on the program of your expeditions on the Côte d'Azur.
